Really need an update!!!

Well obviously it has been too long since I updated my blog. Things have been kinda crazy around the Burrell household. Some might already know of all of you who read my blog but David and I are expecting in March or April, and the crazy part is we are having TWINS!! We hope to find out what they are in about a month, I'm hoping for boy and girl but we'll see. David keeps saying that this is it no matter what we have so who knows. I can't say that the pregnancy has been a breeze, I have been sick as dog almost the entire time we are just praying that the sickness eases up and that everything goes smoothly and we end up with two healthy babies at the end of this. I'll post some pictures soon!

Another new addition!

One of my best friends Meredith also just had a baby. Little Miss. Sophie Glynn Belew. I have been blessed with the best group of girlfriends that anybody could ever ask for and these are two of them, Meredith and Brandy. I can't count the number of times I have called them over the past year crying or just needing someone to talk to. Brandy and Meredith have been there through it all and have always had just the right words to say to calm me down or to just cheer me up!! I Love you girls!

Happy Birthday!

We just celebrated Nate and Jenn's Birthdays. I have been blessed with 4 of the best sister-in-laws, three of which are here in MD. I don't think I could make it up here with out you Jenn!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Our new nephew!

Our two adorable nephews Nate and Mason. Mason is now 6 weeks old and Nate just turned 3. They are two of my favorite things up here in Maryland! David's other sister Barbara also just had another little girl Abigale. We have not had a chance to meet her but plan on seeing them in June. Pictures of Allie and Abby to come later!

Two of my favorite people......

Some might already know but I just recently lost both of my grandparents within two months of each other. My Papaw passed away in February from cancer and my Mamaw just passed away last week from Pneumonia. Anyone who knew them knew that they did EVERYTHING together. We are all glad that they are together again but its rough down here with out them. I think the hardest thing for me is going to be not talking to them daily. My Mamaw always knew just what to say when I called feeling homesick and always gave the best advice. Papaw was always quiet but when he gave advice or encouragement you knew that it came from the heart. They were truly and inspiration to all who knew them. They are going to be GREATLY missed!!

St. Thomas Vacation

David and I just got back from the best vacation. My Papaw booked a late anniversary trip for us before he got really sick. We were able to spend a wonderful week in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. I have never seen such beautiful water and beaches. We were able to snorkle, take a sail boat cruise and spend a couple of days at 2 of the top rated beaches in the world! We can't wait for next year!!
